Bridal Gown Inspiration- Nashville Hair and Makeup Artist

Engagement season is upon us!!! Which means so many brides-to-be will be on the hunt for the PERFECT dress in the coming months. So when Lover.ly asked me to check out their gallery of gowns, of course I couldn’t help but get giddy with excitement as I poured over the endless array of fluff and sparkle and delicate fabrics and fancy silhouettes. Lover.ly makes finding inspiration for and planning your wedding extremely easy. Take a peek at my fav gowns and the complimenting makeup designs to really polish off the look.

I adore the simplicity of this dress, but then POW! It hits you with a really unique back. It’s got some bling peeking over the shoulders and that chic sheath silhouette. A bride who chose this dress would probably be a good mix of classic elegance with some modern pizzaz.

The makeup look for this dress would be along the same lines as the dress itself. Classic and elegant, with a neutral eye. Using a liquid black liner for that curvy line along the top lid. Lots of lash volume to add to the femininity of the silhouette. And then POW! a surprise element of a deep burgundy lip and nail color.

I’m a sucker for an open back. This is such a delicate way to show off your back without getting off the bridal path. The skirt drapes so lightly and everything about this gown is like frolicking though the dew covered daffodils. It’s gentle, fresh, and just so darn pretty.

The makeup for this bride would be skin focused. Bringing light and radiance to the complexion with a light foundation, a brightening concealer, a light reflecting powder just in the T zone, and a gentle cream blush that just oozes youthful glow.

Then there’s this little number. For the daring bride who makes her own set of rules.
MiMi Hayley PaigeMakeup would have to mimic the geometric pattern of the net with razor sharp cheekbones. And the eyes angled outward in a metallic gray smoke with a kohl liner to help swoosh those peepers out. And lashes that add extra geometric lines are a bonus.
