All Answers: Best primer I’ve found is Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. It also comes in a light, oil free version. It has about a 16 hour hold and forms a great barrier between skin and foundation. Smooth on with a brush or fingers before foundation for a smooth, matte finish.
The trick to thin eyeliner is not the liner itself, but the method of application. Try using a gel liner, such as MAC Fluidline, and apply with a thin liner brush. Gel liner and a brush gives you more control than a pencil and it is longer lasting. Just get a small amount of liner on the brush and glide it across the top of your lids from the outside, getting thinner as you move inward. You could also smudge it with a sweep of eyeshadow.
